The band was founded in 1996 and had their first live appearance in november of the same year. Several shows and recordings of a demo-tape followed before Creutzfeldt toured germany in April 1998 with CODE 13 and released their first 7inch "s/t" on Bastardized Recordings (May 1998). After numerous shows in germany, a second tour followed in April 2000 - this time through England and with TUPAMAROS. Then in November of the same year several shows in Austria. Through all these years Creutzfeldt had the possibility to play with bands like GOMORRHA, HAMMERHEAD, HELLCHILD, DAMNATION A.D., SIX REASONS TO KILL, APRIL, MORSER, BARSEROS, TUMULT, RISE ANEW, CODE 13, TUPAMAROS, DROP DEAD or STALINGRAD.
